Interactive Systems Designs (Pty) Ltd (ISD), trading as Internext, is an Internet Service Provider that has been operating since 1994.  Originally the nature of the business was the development of systems integration applications for the mining industry as the founding members we both electronic engineers. This was the start of Streamline, which is now on Version 3.

With the advent of the Internet, ISD set up the first internet connectivity to the Free State. We were then already doing pioneering work on internet search engines, smarter connectivity and the development of interactive software applications.

ISD is also a recognized Technology Top 100 company.

We have branches in Johannesburg, Bloemfontein and Welkom and are also represented  in other larger centres throughout South Africa by regional agents.  We currently service more than 5000 clients with a wide range of internet related products and services.

We have a staff complement of 25 that consists of interactive solution programmers, solution architects, graphic designers and administrative personnel.  The ISD team are a group of dedicated professionals that pursue excellence in order to efficiently serve our clients . We are committed to continually seeking and developing better methods and applications to add value for our customers.

The core business focuses on providing cost effective internet based services for the small and medium enterprise sector.

ISD is a non-listed, privately owned and shareholder managed company.

ISD is a member of the Internet Service Provider Association.
